Walden Ponds is a beautiful open space area near Boulder, Colorado where I live. One April evening I stopped there to watch a bank of clouds roll in. I was taken by the muted colors and the interesting line the shoreline made as it pulled my eye into the mountain scene in the distance.

Anne Gifford is an award winning artist and the eight time poster artist for Colorado's Bolder Boulder 10K Memorial Day Race, one of the largest road races in the United States.
